BA Business and Management Law

Course Overview

BA Business and Management (Law) at the University of Gloucestershire combines core business skills with essential legal knowledge and prepares you for careers where it is valuable to understand trade law. This course covers contract law, right of employment, corporate formation, and intellectual property rights, which will give you practical legal knowledge relating to business situations. 

You will study at the Oxstalls campus in Gloucester, and learn through real business challenges, case studies and data simulations. The course includes a Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management, making your qualification more valuable for employers. The University of Gloucestershire BA Business and Management (LAW) offers optional placements with companies such as IBM, British Airways and John Lewis, and provides you with practical experience with your studies.

Entry Requirements

Relevant work experience and alternative qualifications are taken into account on an individual basis for applicants who do not meet the standard intake requirements. Based on work experience rather than academic identification, mature students (those over 21) can be admitted. 

Some applicants, especially those who apply with non-traditional identification or experience get an invitation to an interview. The institution provides pre-session courses to help you get ready for lower-level studies if you do not meet the English-language requirements.

Grade Requirements
To apply for BA Business and Management (LAW), you usually need 104 UCAS tariff points. This can be BCC at A-level, DMM on BTEC, merit in your T-level, or other international qualifications.

English Proficiency
If English is not your first language, you need an IELT of 6.0 overall without a component below 5.5 or equivalent scores in TOEFL or PTE tests.

Cost of Study

For UK students starting in 2025, the tuition fee is £9,535. International students pay £17,425 per year. There may be additional costs for field trips or study materials.

Scholarships

Both UK and International Students can apply for scholarships from the university, including bursaries for people requiring financial assistance and awards for academic achievement.
