The MSc International Business and Entrepreneurship programme at the University of Essex is designed to help students understand how businesses operate across international markets and how to create and grow their own ventures. The programme teaches them about global trade, cultural differences, and strategies for expanding businesses internationally.
This one-year course is offered at the university’s Southend Campus. It includes modules such as International Business and Strategy, Managerial Economics, and Theories and Practice of Entrepreneurship. These modules combine theory and practical knowledge to give students a strong foundation in international business. A key part of the course is the dissertation, where students research a topic and submit a 15,000-word report on it or create an international business plan.
Graduates of the programme have many opportunities to build successful careers. They can start their own businesses using the skills learned during the course or work in international companies focusing on areas like global market expansion or supply chain management.
