MSci Social Psychology
Course overview
The MSci Social Psychology in the University of East Anglia (UEA) is a 4-year degree that combines a bachelor’s and master’s qualification. It is for students who want to learn how people think, act, and interact in social situations.
Students get hands-on research experience and use specialist labs like eye-tracking labs, EEG labs, observation rooms, and testing spaces. The programme links what students learn to real-life situations, showing how social behaviour affects society, work, and communities.
Teaching is through lectures, workshops, lab sessions, small group seminars, and supervised research. Assessment is through essays, exams, reports, presentations, lab work, and coursework. By the end of the programme, students are skilled in applying social theory, analysing data, and designing research professionally.
