University of East Anglia UEA

Course overview

This one-year, full-time LLM Master of Laws degree provides students with unparalleled flexibility, enabling them to construct a programme tailored to their personal interests and career goals. Students choose 140 of their 180 credits from the Law School's comprehensive list of optional LLM modules, covering International Commercial Law and Corporate Governance, as well as Intellectual Property.

The only mandatory academic requirement is a 40-credit Dissertation on a topic of the student’s choosing and a non-credit-bearing Postgraduate Legal Skills module at the start of the course. Teaching is delivered primarily through interactive lectures and small-group seminars, with assessment focused on coursework to maximise student performance.
