LLM Law General
Course overview
This 12-month, full-time Master of Laws (LLM) allows students to create their own personal study programme by choosing from a wide selection of specialist modules. Students can choose topics from corporate, commercial, and competition law to areas such as water law, human rights law, and environmental law. They can also pick options from other subjects, like business or politics.
The teaching is done through student-led seminars, where preparation for class and group discussions is very important. Performance is checked through written or oral exams or coursework assignments. The final stage is either a thesis (a major research project) or an internship, which offers practical legal work experience.
