Course overview
The BEng Motorsport Engineering with Foundation Year at the University of Derby is specifically designed to prepare students for professional careers in the international motorsport sector. The course is professionally accredited, setting students on a path to achieving Chartered Engineer status.

Entry requirements
Candidates are to provide a personal statement explaining their motivations for applying and any other relevant details about their academic background. A reference from an academic source or employer is also necessary. You can also submit your CV to showcase any relevant work experience.
Grade Requirements:

Candidates need to achieve at least 72 UCAS points from qualifications such as A-Levels at DDD, BTEC Extended Diploma at MPP, T Levels and Access to HE Diplomas.
English Proficiency:

Candidates from non-English-speaking countries need to demonstrate their English language skills by obtaining an overall score of 6.5 in the IELTS with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.

Two awards of £1,000 are available, and will be awarded as a tuition fee reduction in the second semester. Each recipient will also be allocated up to £500 to use to attend a conference.
