Entry Requirements

Grade Requirements

  • 104-112 UCAS Tariff Points with qualifications equivalent to the UK A-levels in subjects such as economics and business studies. The typical grade range is BBC.
  • BTEC Extended Diploma: With grades ranging from DMM (Distinction, Merit, Merit).
  • International Baccalaureate: A total score of 32 points in higher-level subjects.

English Proficiency

  • Non-native English speakers may need to demonstrate proficiency in the language, typically through an IELTS score of at least 6.5. TOEFL or other equivalents are also allowed.

Cost of Study

The tuition fee for the 2025/26 academic year for international students in the BA International Relations and Business Management is approximately £16,900. This cost is mostly curated towards tuition and does not cover additional expenses related to the program.

Scholarships

In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT British Campaign, this scholarship program offers financial support of £10,000 to eligible students from India pursuing one year of postgraduate study at the University of Derby.
