Entry Requirements

  • Candidates are required to submit a personal statement in which they discuss their reasons for applying for the course and other relevant information regarding their studies.

  • A relevant academic and/or employer reference is also required.

  • Students have the option to upload their CVs along with their applications to demonstrate their work experience.

Grade Requirements:

  • For 2025 entry, standard requirements include 112 UCAS tariff points, A-Levels at BBC, a Merit in a T Level, or a DMM in a BTEC. Equivalent international qualifications are also considered.

English Proficiency:

  • Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate proficiency by achieving an overall IELTS score of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component. The university also accepts other English proficiency tests, such as TOEFL and PTE.

Cost of Study

The total tuition fee for international students undertaking the BSc Business Economics programme at the University of Buckingham is £44,400.

Scholarships

The University of Buckingham offers several scholarships for international undergraduate students. High-achieving international students can receive a £2,500 fee reduction through the International Undergraduate High Achiever Scholarship. Additionally, the Sheikh / Mubarak Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah Scholarship provides a substantial £40,000 award for exceptional Arabic students enrolled in a full-time, two-year undergraduate degree.
