Course Overview
This LLM postgraduate course focuses on international business law and the legal aspects of global business, and the systems that govern them. Students will gain detailed knowledge of important legal areas, including mechanisms for dispute resolution. The programme covers international trade law, corporate governance, and intellectual property law.
Students will learn how legal rules, policies and jurisdictions work in practice and how they affect business operations in a global world. The programme combines global business and law in international trade law.
Students will be taught through lectures, seminars, and workshops, using practical activities like mooting and case studies. They will be assessed through written reports, presentations, and a final dissertation where they will carry out a major research project.

Entry Requirements
Candidates are to submit a statement where they discuss their reasons for applying for the course, an academic and/or employer reference, and CVs along with their applications.
Grade Requirements:
- 2.2 honours degree or its equivalent in a related subject.
English Proficiency:
- IELTS overall score of 6.5 with no component below 5.5.
- PTE and TOEFL IBT are also accepted.
Cost of Study
The tuition fee for the LLM International Business Law course at the University of Bedfordshire for the 2025/26 academic year is £16,900.
Scholarships
The University of Bedfordshire offers scholarships to support international students with their tuition fees, including the Postgraduate Global Merit Scholarship, which provides a £3,000 reduction of tuition fees for students who have a minimum 75% GPA or equivalent in their Bachelor's degree.
