BSc Business Management with Finance With Foundtion Year

University of Bedfordshire

Course overview

The University of Bedfordshire BSc Business Management Finance Foundation is a four-year programme that begins with a Foundation Year, giving students who do not meet the entry requirements the opportunity to build their academic skills and meet specific entry requirements.

This first year focuses on developing academic writing skills and numeracy, alongside providing subject-specific content to fully prepare students for their undergraduate degree studies. Successful completion of this Foundation Year is required for progression to the main degree.

Once students complete the Foundation Year, they advance to the BSc Business Management with Finance degree, which prepares them for managerial positions across various business environments with a specialisation in finance.

The course helps students understand financial theories, risk management, and financial reporting. It aims to develop research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, equipping students to become effective managers in a changing financial landscape.
