LLB Law with Criminology

The University of LawBirmingham Leeds London Bloomsbury Manchester, United Kingdom

Course overview

The LLB Law with Criminology at the University of Law is a three-year full-time undergraduate degree that combines traditional legal studies with the study of criminology. Students will study core law modules including Criminal Law, Public Law, Land Law, Contract Law, Tort, Equity & Trusts, while also engaging with criminological ideas. They will be taught by legally experienced lecturers, many of whom are practising lawyers, and benefit from small class sizes, interactive teaching, and hands-on learning.

The University of Law emphasises a professional approach where students are guided to apply theory in real-world contexts. They are assessed through essays, project reports, portfolios, oral presentations, and exams. The curriculum supports future legal professions by aligning with the Bar training course or the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE1).
