Course overview
The MSc Physiotherapy Pre-registration course at Robert Gordon University is an accelerated programme which enables students to build on prior learning and experience to provide them with the knowledge and skills necessary to practice physiotherapy and help patients experience improvements in their quality of life.
RGU’s learning experience will enable students to effectively assess and treat patients, continually analyse and evaluate their practice. Students will learn through seminars, group tutorials, project supervision, practical classes or workshops, independent study and placement or work-based learning. Assessments will be through: written assignments, reports, dissertations, project outputs and oral assessments.
Entry requirements
Applicants with a non-science or health-related background are welcome to apply to the MSc Physiotherapy – Pre-registration at Robert Gordon University. They may be required to complete pre-requisite study in anatomy and physiology before commencing their studies on the MSc programme.
Grade Requirement:
- Aspiring students for an MSc Physiotherapy – Pre-registration at Robert Gordon University require a Bachelor's undergraduate degree in a science subject, such as biological or sports science, and should contain human anatomy and physiology with a 2:1 or above classification, or a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 Scale, or equivalent.
English Language Requirement:
- IELTS of 6.5 overall, with no component lower than 6.5, or an equivalent.
- TOEFL iBT: Reading 18, Writing 17, Speaking 20 and Listening 17, with a total minimum of 88.
- Cambridge English: a minimum of 162 in every skill and a minimum total score of 176.
