MSc Port Management

Course Overview

The MSc Ports Management from Liverpool John Moores University is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the management of ports and port terminals, as well as the wider logistics industry. As part of the programme, students gain the tools to become effective project managers of port operations. Throughout the one-year programme, students learn to analyse how national and international governance affect port management. 

Students will gain knowledge through lectures and directed-centred learning, such as case studies. They will be required to complete open-ended reports and project work to demonstrate their understanding of topics. Entry Requirements

Grade Requirements:

A 2.2 undergraduate honours degree or equivalent in maritime, transport, logistics, business, management or related studies, applicants with an unclassified degree and significant relevant industrial experience may be considered.

English Proficiency

Applicants whose primary language is not English need to have an overall IELTS score of 6.0. They must also score at least 5.5 in each part of the skill test.

Cost of Study

For international students enrolling in the MSc Port Management at Liverpool John Moores University, the 2025/26 annual tuition fee is £18,250.
