LLB International Law

Course Overview

The LLB International Law at Kingston University is designed to enable students to gain a solid understanding of law and business on a global scale to fully prepare them for practice in this field. Students will develop their understanding of core concepts and theories in international law and business, as well as learning alternatives to the judicial process, such as mediation and arbitration.

Throughout the LLB International Law course, students will explore how international business operates through trade, licensing of technology, and foreign direct investment. The course also offers the opportunity to specialise in areas such as dispute resolution, international trade, and intellectual property.

Students will demonstrate key skills,  including critical thinking, problem-solving, and practice-based writing, helping them prepare for both professional and academic careers in this area.

About University

Kingston University London has a history that began in 1899. Initially founded as Kingston Technical Institute, it gained university status in 1992. The university functions across four campuses: Penrhyn Road, Kingston Hill, Knights Park, and Roehampton Vale, each providing specialised facilities designed for various areas of study.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must provide a personal statement. This statement should explain why they wish to join the course and include other important details about their studies. A reference from a teacher or employer who knows the applicant's abilities is also needed. Students can also choose to upload their CV to show any relevant work experience they have.

Grade Requirements:

  • Applicants are expected to have 120-136 UCAS tariff points through A-Level and BTEC Level 3 National Diploma. 

English Proficiency:

  • International students whose first language isn't English are expected to show proof that they're proficient in the language. To evaluate this, an IELTS overall score of 6.0 with at least 5.5 in each element is required.

Cost of Study

For international students enrolling in the LLB International Law from Kingston University, the tuition fee for the 2025/26 academic session is £18,500.

Scholarships

Kingston University London provides a variety of scholarships to assist both home and international students undertaking undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. International students with an offer for a postgraduate course may be eligible for a £5,000 scholarship towards their first-year tuition fees by submitting a personal statement and a short video introduction.
