BA Business Management with Entrepreneurship

The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Business Management with Entrepreneurship from Keele University will teach you the skills to launch and run your own business by combining essential business knowledge with an entrepreneurial mindset. You'll explore subjects like marketing, new ideas, and how to lead, while also learning how to develop and present your business plans.

You'll also have the opportunity to take an extra Entrepreneurship Year. During this year, you can focus on developing your startup idea with support from experienced professionals. This practical experience will help you use what you've learned in actual business situations.

You'll learn through lectures, practical workshops, and projects. Your progress will be assessed through coursework such as business plans, presentations, collections of your work (portfolios), and reports where you think about your learning. The assessments will focus on real business challenges.

Keele University, established in 1949 as the University College of North Staffordshire, gained university status in 1962. Its commitment to teaching excellence is reflected in its Gold rating in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF). The BA (Hons) Business Management with Entrepreneurship programme at Keele is an opportunity for students to undertake an Entrepreneurship Year. During this optional year, students can develop their business ventures with support from Keele’s Entrepreneurs in Residence and academic staff.

Grade Requirements

Applicants need 112 UCAS points, for example, through BBC at A level, DMM in BTEC, or a Merit in a T level. The university also considers an International Baccalaureate score of 29 overall (or 554 in three Higher Level subjects), and an Access to HE Diploma with 112 UCAS points, including at least 15 Level 3 credits at Distinction.

English Proficiency

International students must demonstrate a good command of English. This can be shown through an IELTS Academic score of at least 6.0 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in each section. Other accepted qualifications include a TOEFL iBT score of 79 or higher (with specific minimum scores in each part), a Pearson PTE Academic score of 59 overall (with at least 54 in each component), and a Cambridge English score of 169 or higher (with at least 162 in each band).

International students enrolling in the BA Business Management with Entrepreneurship should expect to pay an annual tuition fee of  £17,700 for the 2025/26 academic session.

Keele University offers several scholarships and bursaries for international undergraduate students. For the 2025/26 academic year, these include the Undergraduate Global International Scholarship (£5,000 per year), the Keele University International College Scholarship (up to £2,500), and the GREAT Scholarship (£10,000 per year for eligible students).
