BEng Robotics, Autonomous and Interactive Systems
Course overview
The BEng Robotics, Autonomous and Interactive Systems at Heriot-Watt University is a course for students who want to help create the future of robotics. It combines three important subjects: electronics, computer software, and mechanical systems. You will learn how to build smart machines that can think and move.
In your first three years, you will study all three areas and learn how to design, build, and test robots. In your final year, you can either continue to study all areas or focus on one part that interests you the most.
Studying BEng Robotics, Autonomous and Interactive Systems at Heriot-Watt University, you will learn by doing. You’ll be supported by expert staff, and have access to industry-standard tools and facilities throughout your degree. The course is closely linked with the university’s leading research in robotics and autonomous systems, and forms part of the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Robotics and Autonomous Systems (CDT-RAS), which is at the forefront of UK robotics and AI development.
