MSc Sport Management
Course overview
The MSc Sport Management programme is designed for professionals and graduates aiming to become leaders in the growing global sports industry. The course applies traditional business subjects such as management, marketing, and finance to the sports industry. The programme aims to sharpen your analytical abilities by focusing on trends, developments, and challenges in the sport and esports sectors.
Teaching methods include lectures, seminars, and pitch presentations. Full-time postgraduate students will study modules totalling 180 credits per academic year. On average, you will have between 8 and 12 teaching and learning hours each week. The course can be extended with a professional experience placement.
Entry requirements
To be enrolled, candidates are required to submit a personal statement, a suitable reference from a teacher or an employer, and their CVs to show their work experience.
Grade Requirements:
- Candidates are required to hold an honours undergraduate degree with a minimum of a lower second-class classification in a relevant academic discipline.
- Students who do not meet the academic requirements but have relevant work experience may be admitted after consideration.
English Proficiency:
- Applicants whose first language is not English need an IELTS overall score of 6.5, with no component lower than 6.0. The university also accepts other equivalent test scores, such as TOEFL or PTE.
