MEng Automotive Engineering

Course Overview

The MEng Automotive Engineering at Coventry University is a four-year integrated master’s course that teaches students how to design, build, and improve vehicles. It combines a bachelor’s (BEng) and a master’s degree (MEng) in one programme. Entry Requirements

Grade Requirements:

  • A-Levels: Usually BBB or above, including maths and a science subject
  • BTEC: Extended Diploma with a strong profile in a relevant subject
  • For international students, WAEC, NECO, IB, or other equivalent qualifications are also accepted.

English Proficiency:

  • If English is not your first language, you must show proof of English proficiency with an IELTS score of 6.0 with no section below 5.5. Other equivalent test scores, such as TOEFL and Pearson PTE, are also accepted. 

Cost of Study

For the 2025/26 academic year, the annual tuition fee for studying MEng Automotive Engineering at Coventry University is £19,850 per year for international students.

Scholarships

Coventry University offers several scholarships for MEng students studying for a degree at the university, one of which is the Vice Chancellor’s scholarship, which provides up to £2,500 in tuition savings for all foreign students, with the exception of those from the EU, enrolled in a master’s degree programme at Coventry University and Coventry University London.
