BSc Computer Science

Course Overview

This Computer Science course teaches how to build computer systems by looking at maths and science, and how they are used with computers. Students will use the same tools that people in the computer industry use, and they will work in a lab called STEAMhouse where they will work with the newest computer programs and technology, think of new ideas, be creative, build first versions of things, and start businesses.

In this course, students will learn through lectures, working in small groups, and doing practical tasks. This course helps students learn how to use the tools that people in real jobs use to build computer systems and understand what these systems need. Assessments in this course will include presentations, exams, and projects.
