Course Overview

The Buckinghamshire New University BEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering Foundation is a four-year programme designed to develop academic study skills and build confidence, preparing students for progression onto the undergraduate degree. Grade Requirements: 

  • Applicants generally need a UCAS tariff score ranging from 32 to 56, including A levels, T levels, BTEC, or an Access to Higher Education diploma. 
  • The university additionally accepts international qualifications that are recognised as equivalent to UK A-levels.

English Proficiency: 

  • If your primary language is not English, you need an overall score of 6.0 in IELTS, with no component score below 5.5. 
  • Other equivalent test scores, including PTE and TOEFL, are also accepted.

Cost of Study

For international students, the annual tuition fee for the BEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering Foundation programme at Buckinghamshire New University is £15,150.

Scholarships

There are a good number of scholarships and bursaries at Buckinghamshire New University to assist undergraduate students in achieving their full potential. These include the BNU Learning Resource Fund, providing £150 for study materials, and the Thrive Bursary, awarding £500 to eligible UK students based on household income or deprivation criteria.
