Course Overview

The Cardiff Metropolitan University BSc Sport Conditioning, Rehabilitation and Massage degree is a three-year full-time programme that provides underpinning knowledge and practical application across three interconnected disciplines: strength and conditioning, sport rehabilitation, and sports massage. This balanced, multi-disciplinary approach provides a thorough understanding of training, exercise, and manual therapies for both performance enhancement and injury rehabilitation.

Work-based learning is an essential component, allowing students to apply their theoretical knowledge in real-world settings. The programme is highly esteemed, being the first international university programme to achieve accreditation from the Council on Accreditation of Strength and Conditioning Education (CASCE). Furthermore, students have the opportunity to gain standalone ITEC qualifications in sports massage.

  • To be enrolled, applicants need a minimum of 120–128 UCAS tariff points, which can be obtained from qualifications like A-levels, BTECs, or T-Levels.
  • Other international qualifications equivalent to A-Levels are accepted.

English Proficiency:

  • Candidates whose first language is not English are required to achieve an IELTS score of 6.0 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in each section.
  • Equivalent acceptable test scores may also be submitted for admission.

Cost of Study
