This four-year full-time programme incorporates an initial foundation year designed to prepare students for the BSc (Hons) Sport Conditioning, Rehabilitation and Massage (SCRAM) degree. The foundation year is suitable for applicants who do not meet the standard entry requirements for direct entry to year one or who need to strengthen their scientific knowledge base.
Once admitted to the main degree, the course provides essential knowledge in strength and conditioning, sports rehabilitation, and sports massage. It is the first international university programme to be accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Strength and Conditioning Education (CASCE), and it allows students the opportunity to gain standalone ITEC Sports Massage qualifications.
