This is a four-year course with foundation that establishes the strength of Human Nutrition, Quality, Safety and Innovation in studying food science and Nutrition in present students who are eager to understand how to develop uncut skills and development in the public and private sector in the organization which will show the students a variety of roles students will select at the end of their first year, presenting them with opportunities of choosing what pathways to pick at the end of their first year, Namely Bsc food science and nutrition(Human nutrition) this programme enables the students to develop specific knowledge to support their future practices as registered nutritionist with studies like health psychology, nutrition biochemistry, physiology in the second and final year.
While the other pathway, BSc Food Science and Nutrition (Quality, Safety and Innovation), attracts students with skills in supply technology, focusing on operating in the global food industry. Modules studied in the second and final year are food production development and food quality.
The professional body is accredited. The Association for Nutrition accredits BSc Food Science and Nutrition (Human Nutrition). The Institute of Food Science and Technology accredits the BSc Food Science and Nutrition programme (Quality, Safety, and Innovation).
