Course overview

The BSc Business Management with Foundation Year at Canterbury Christ Church University aims to develop critical thinking skills and understanding in crucial business areas including fundamental areas of Business, Finance, HR, Marketing, Operations, and Micro and Macroeconomics. This enables graduates to understand successful business operations in greater ecosystems.

Entry requirements

Grade Requirements:

  • UCAS tariff points of 64 is accepted. 
  • A minimum of two A Levels or a BTEC National Diploma. 
  • A combination of BTEC and A Level qualifications equivalent to two A Levels (such as a BTEC subsidiary certificate) and one A Level. 

English Proficiency: 

For international students, proof of English language proficiency is required. The following English tests are accepted: 

  • IELTS: Overall score of 6.0–6.5, with at least 5.5–6.0 in each component.
  • TOEFL IBT: Minimum of 60 overall: Reading 8, Listening 7, Speaking 16 and Writing 18
  • PTE Academic: 59 overall with no element below 59
  • Oxford ELLT: 6 overall with no element below 5

    Up to 20% of fees

  • Funding for Horticulture MSc by Research

    This funding will cover at least the fees for the course for home students, with some funding left over for living costs.

    You will gain a reduction of £1,500 from your fees for each year of full-time study.

  • Partner Schools Award

    You will receive up to £1,500 over three years.

  • Sanctuary Scholarship

    Tuition fee support: you will be offered a tuition fee waiver until you are awarded status that entitles you to access statutory student support. This does not cover repeat years of study.
