MSc Physician Associate

The MSc Physician Associate takes two years to complete full-time. The course prepares graduates to assist medical teams in diagnosing and managing patients. The programme has a demanding schedule, usually five days a week, with classroom-based, problem-based, and clinical practice learning. The programme includes more than 1,700 hours of professional practice, with placements beginning early in the first year.

The learning and assessment is detailed and practical, including Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs), written assignments, oral presentations, reflective writing and a portfolio of evidence. The curriculum includes academic study and clinical practice in hospitals and general practitioner surgeries. The programme equips students with skills and experience to work effectively within the National Health Service (NHS).

• Candidates need an IELTS score of 7.5 overall with a minimum of 7.0 in all sections.
• Other English language test scores, such as PTE Academic, were at an overall grade of 73, with a minimum of 64.
• And TOEFL IBT at an overall grade of 108 with a minimum of 20 in each section are accepted, amongst others.
