Bar Training Resit Programme (BTR)
Course overview
Hit your resit limit? Your journey’s not over. The Bar Training Resit Programme gives you a new path to becoming eligible to be called to the Bar of England and Wales.
The complete programme runs three times a year and allows you further opportunities to sit any assessments you were not able to pass during your BTC. And with optional refresher training available (led by our experienced barrister tutors) you'll maximise your chances of passing. You will not receive any academic award (such as a diploma or LLM) for completing the BTR, but passing all of your outstanding BSB exams means you can apply to your Inn to be Called.
The BTR runs in Spring (March - May with applications opening in February), Summer (July - September with applications opening in June) and Winter (November - January with applications opening in October). Exact dates are posted prior to each sit on this page in the downloads. If you wish to express interest in any upcoming sit opportunity, email [email protected] and ask to be placed on the mailing list.
