Course Overview

This Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Technology from Birmingham City University will equip you with the key knowledge and abilities to understand how technology changes businesses. Entry Requirements

Grade Requirements

  • To be considered for the standard entry requirements, applicants need 112 UCAS Tariff points, typically equivalent to BBC grades at A-level, with one subject being Technology, Science, Mathematics, or Computing. 
  • For the accelerated entry route, 80 UCAS points are required. Alternatively, a Merit grade overall in a T-level, a pass in an Access to HE Diploma with 60 credits (at least 45 at level 3), or an International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum score of 28 points are also accepted.

English Proficiency

  • Applicants whose first language isn’t English are required to demonstrate proficiency. This is shown through an IELTS 6.0 overall, with no less than 5.5 in any component.

Cost of Study

For international students choosing the Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Technology, the cost of tuition for the academic year 2025 to 2026 is expected to be £17,690.
