LLB Law with Criminology

Bangor University

Course overview

The LLB Law with Criminology at Bangor University is a degree course that looks at two important subjects that are closely linked: Law and Criminology. This programme teaches you about the criminal justice system: how laws are made and used, and how they affect the people involved, such as offenders, victims, and the professionals who work with them.

When studying LLB Law with Criminology from Bangor University, you will explore how the system works, what factors cause people to commit crimes, and what the consequences of criminal behaviour are. This knowledge is important for understanding how to prevent crime and how best to punish it in the future.

The best part is that you will graduate with a Law degree that meets the official academic requirements if you want to become a barrister. It also provides essential knowledge if you want to become a solicitor. You can choose specific optional modules, like Business Law, Wills and Estates, and Property Practice, which are tested in the new Solicitors’ Qualifying Examinations (SQE). This gives you a clear pathway to further professional training.
