BA Event Management

Course Overview

In every industry, there is a need for individuals to gather for one reason or the other. This validates the high demand for event managers, an individual skilled in the art of overseeing gatherings such as conferences and festivals.

In the BA Events Management course at the University of Hertfordshire, students develop the skills necessary to envision, plan, and oversee events. This course focuses on practical learning through live event projects, creative assignments, work placements with top companies, and an opportunity for study abroad. It covers four modules, each with a minimum of two hours of physical teaching per week. In addition, students will need to study independently.

Grade Requirements

Applicants need a UCAS tariff point from 104 to 112. For A-Levels, they must have grades from BCC to BBC (or equivalent qualifications). International applicants may tender 112-120 UCAS points for an International Baccalaureate.

Non-native English speakers may need to demonstrate proficiency in the language, typically through an IELTS score of at least 6.0. TOEFL or other equivalents are also allowed.
