The marketing landscape has evolved dramatically over the last few decades, and this shift has increased the demand for data-driven decision-making in all organisations.

The University of East Anglia’s BSc in Marketing and Data Analytics (with a Year in Industry) is designed to equip individuals with the skills necessary to navigate the marketing world. This course takes students through the principles and strategies of marketing and helps them develop analytical skills.

During this programme, students cover core modules such as principles of marketing, introduction to digital business, management and organisations, etc. These modules are taught through lectures and seminars and supported by group work and real-life projects.

To study BSc in Marketing and Data Analytics (with a Year in Industry) at the University of East Anglia, applicants must meet certain requirements, such as:

Grade requirements

Applicants should hold a minimum of ABB in A-Levels. For BTECs, DDM is acceptable. But for a combination of BTEC and A-Levels, the university accepts DDM in the Extended Diploma and DD plus B at A-Level. The University also accepts the International Baccalaureate with 32 points overall.

English Proficiency

Non-native English speakers may need to demonstrate proficiency in the language, typically through an IELTS score of at least 6.0. TOEFL or other equivalents are also allowed.

Cost of Study

The tuition fee (2025/2026) for a BSc in Marketing and Data Analytics (with a Year in Industry) at the University of East Anglia is £22,000.

This fee covers the cost of teaching and assessment as well as the use of university facilities. Expenses like placements, equipment, clothing, etc, are not included.

Scholarships

The university provides its students with different scholarships and bursaries to reduce the cost of study and reward exceptional students.

An example is the International UG Merit Scholarships. This is an automatic award funded as a tuition fee for students paying the international tuition fee. It is valued at £4000 per year of study.
