BSc Psychology Clinical Forensic with Foundation Year

Course Overview

This full-time BSc (Honours) in Psychology (Clinical & Forensic Studies) with Foundation Year course lasts four years and starts in September 2026. The first year, called the Foundation Year, gets students ready for university-level study. It helps students build important study skills, learn basic psychology, and improve abilities like writing and critical thinking. This makes sure you're confident to move forward with your degree.

After the Foundation Year, students will go into the three-year BSc (Hons) Psychology (Clinical & Forensic Studies) degree. This part of the course looks at how psychology is used in real-world situations, like in hospitals or with legal cases. Students learn through classes, group discussions, hands-on practice, and studying on their own. Your work will be checked through essays, reports, presentations, and exams. This course is approved by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
