The course equips you with expert knowledge in monetary economics, policy, risk assessment, and the operations of financial institutions, preparing you for roles in central banking, consultancy, research, and specialised media. The programme is available full-time or part-time, with start dates in September and January.
Core modules include Financial Analysis and Asset Management, Central Banking (1 & 2), The Central Bank, The Banking System and the Macroeconomy, Banking Risk Management, Empirical Techniques and Research Methods, and an MSc Dissertation. The University of Buckingham's Institute of International Monetary Research (IIMR), established in 2014, contributes to the programme.
