Grade Requirements:

To be considered for admission, applicants should have at least a 2:2 honours degree or an equivalent qualification. Alternatively, a recognised professional qualification at the graduate level in a relevant field may also be accepted. Those who have completed a Pre-Master’s programme approved by Birmingham City University are also eligible to apply.

English Proficiency: 

• An IELTS of 6.0 with at least 5.5 in each element is required for students whose first language is not English. Equivalent tests are also accepted.

For the 2025/2026 academic year, the tuition fee to study the International MBA at Birmingham City University is £19,970.

Birmingham City University offers a variety of scholarship opportunities, some of which are sustained by the university and others which are from partnered organisations. The Postgrad Solutions bursaries offer 5 bursaries of £2,000 each for students pursuing postgraduate taught and research programmes in any subject and across all study modes.

Also, The High Achievers Scholarship at BCU rewards outstanding students who have 144 UCAS points or more after applying for BCU by June 30, 2025. Such students will be eligible for a £1000 scholarship.
