The Buckinghamshire New University BEng Civil Engineering Foundation Year is a four-year programme designed to build academic study skills and confidence for aspiring engineers. This first year within the Engineering and Built Environment School shares a common curriculum, allowing students to establish strong foundations in various areas of engineering science. Following the foundation year, the BEng Civil Engineering course explores core topics such as structural analysis and design, geotechnical engineering, and environmental engineering, with a central focus on sustainability and innovation.
