PhD Games Design

The PhD Games Design at Brunel University London is designed for students with a clear research direction and a strong academic or professional background in gaming or design. The programme offers to prepare researchers to conduct advanced studies in game-related disciplines, such as AI, user experience, immersive technologies, game-based learning and socio-cultural studies.

Grade Requirements:

• Applicants need a minimum of an upper second-class honours degree (2:1) or its equivalent.

The tuition fee for the PhD Games Design programme for the 2025/26 academic year is £22,320 for International students. Tuition fees are reviewed annually and may change.
