Course Overview

Every business needs data to make informed and effective decisions. From marketing and financial decisions to human resource management, organisations need to collect, analyse and interpret data to make progress. This makes the demand for business analysts.

This BSc Business Analytics and Management course option includes a Foundation Year for individuals who do not meet the standard entry requirements or those with a first degree in an unrelated field. The goal of this course is to produce professionals who are capable of collecting, analysing, and interpreting data for businesses and can function in other areas such as HRM, leadership, accounting, and other capacities.

During this course, students will learn data analysis and business management through lectures, seminars, workshops, and PC labs. Assessments are a combination of coursework (reports, essays, presentations) and examinations.

Grade Requirements

Applicants need a minimum UCAS point of 80, CDD in A-Levels, MMP in BTEC Nationals, and grade C/4 in English and Mathematics in the GCSE. International applicants can submit 80 tariff points from the International Baccalaureate, typically H5, H4, or H4 or its equivalent.

English Proficiency
