MSc Health and Wellbeing Top-up

University of Wolverhampton

Course overview

The MSc Health and Wellbeing (Top-up) at the University of Wolverhampton is a one-year master’s programme. It runs full-time or part-time and lets students do a research dissertation. Students pick a topic in health or wellbeing that interests them. They will learn research design, methodology, evaluation, and how to apply health science in real settings. The course refreshes and deepens your earlier studies if you have done relevant postgraduate work. Students will design, do and evaluate a study of their choice in the health, well-being, or social care fields.

The course is taught at the City Campus of Wolverhampton, and it is offered both full-time and part-time. Students learn mostly by doing their own research. The university gives guidance on theory, research methods, ethics, data collection, and evaluation. Students will use reading, maybe interviews or surveys, analyse data, and then write their dissertation. Assessment is through your dissertation and sometimes preparatory work.
