MSc Healthcare Leadership and Commissioning
Course overview
The MSc Healthcare Leadership and Commissioning programme is designed for professionals who wish to develop advanced skills in leadership, commissioning, and change management within health and social care settings. The curriculum draws on leadership theory, contemporary healthcare policy, and real-world practice to equip clinicians, managers, and commissioners with the tools to improve quality, safety, and service delivery.
Assessment is conducted through a blend of presentations, seminars, abstracts, posters, and written assignments (typically 3,000-4,000 words). Students also complete a dissertation, enabling them to undertake a work-based investigation or research project relevant to healthcare leadership and commissioning.
