MEng Electronic Engineering with Computer Systems

University of Surrey

Course overview

This MEng Electronic Engineering with Computer Systems at the University of Surrey is a four-year integrated master's programme that teaches how to blend electronics with computing to solve real-world tech problems. It commences with a solid foundation in electrical science and electronics, then dives deeper into computer hardware, software development, and networking, and even touches some parts of machine learning and security.

Students will gain hands-on experience in the institution’s state-of-the-art labs, where they work on projects that are related to industry problems.  This is not just about theory but about developing skills to innovate in areas like IoT devices, smart systems, or cybersecurity. Graduates always leave ready to lead in tech-driven areas, with the full master's qualification making way for a chartered engineer status.
