The University of Suffolk BSc Physiotherapy programme prepares students to become registered physiotherapists by focusing on human movement, health promotion, and specialist assessment and treatment. The course covers areas such as cardiorespiratory, musculoskeletal, and neuroscience, alongside professional and entrepreneurial skills, which are necessary for modern practice.
Students will learn in small classes within the Health and Wellbeing Building, which includes access to practical labs, simulation suites, and an on-site clinic. Students will also complete approximately 31 weeks of practice placements across the three years, ensuring they achieve more than the required 1,000 clinical practice hours needed for qualification and registration.
