BA International Business Top Up

The BA International Business (Top Up) at the University of South Wales is designed for individuals who have a relevant foundation degree or an equivalent qualification and want to gain a full degree in international business. During this course, you’ll study areas such as business strategy, international business management, and international culture and communications, among others. You will also gain skills such as self-management, global mindset, business awareness, and other interpersonal skills. 

Learning is a mix of academic theory and hands-on practice through lectures, group projects, industry-led workshops, and simulations. You will also work on live projects under the guidance of business specialists. This will give you the opportunity and support to develop your business skills.

Assessments may occur through written examinations like reports, essays, and group and individual presentations, exams, and more. These methods use discipline-specific formatting and so offer students a more realistic experience.

Grade Requirements

• To apply, you should have completed an HND in Business Studies or Business & Accounting, a Foundation Degree in Business Studies, Service Sector Management, Retail Management, or a similar qualification such as a Diploma in Higher Education or an ILM Level 5 in Leadership and Management.
• Other qualifications or relevant work experience are acceptable. However, you must have 240 credits, and the university’s Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) policy may be used to assess your eligibility.

English Proficiency

Non-native English speakers may need to demonstrate proficiency in the language, typically through an IELTS score of at least 6.0. TOEFL or other equivalents are also allowed.
