MSc Physiotherapy Pre-Registration

University of Roehampton

Course overview

This is an intense, two-year full-time Master's degree that prepares students to become confident, licensed Physiotherapists. The course has official approval from the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). This means graduates can successfully register to work as professional Physiotherapists. The programme aims to build excellent skills in clear thinking, communication, and teamwork for working in many different healthcare settings.

The course uses a mix of learning styles, including online lessons, classroom teaching, and practical sessions in modern buildings like the Mary Seacole Health Innovation Centre. Students get real-world experience through placements that include simulated and external practice in various health and social care areas. The study is organised module by module, helping students build their knowledge step-by-step and learn to provide care according to the best available evidence.
