Course overview

The University of Roehampton BSc International Business Top-Up course is specifically designed to build upon prior academic study, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of international business management. This programme aims to develop abilities in key areas such as marketing, finance, and human resource management, preparing students to adapt effectively to the complexities of the global business environment.

The course employs a practical and modern curriculum, connecting learning directly to real-world international business scenarios. Students benefit from high-specification facilities, including a Business Laboratory and Bloomberg Trading Room. 

Teaching methods include lectures, seminars, and independent learning, while assessments include coursework, reports, exams for certain modules, online tests, portfolio evaluation, case studies, and consultancy projects.

Entry requirements

You need to submit a personal statement discussing your reasons for applying to the course and provide other relevant information about your studies. A relevant academic and/or employer reference is also required. You have the option to upload your CV to show your work experience.

Grade Requirements: 

  • Applicants need 240 credits from a Higher National Diploma (HND), a foundation degree (FdA/FdSc), or an equivalent international qualification in a relevant subject. 
  • Alternatively, 240 credits achieved from the first and second years of an undergraduate degree (BA/BSc) in a relevant subject at another institution are also accepted.

English Proficiency: 

  • Applicants from non-English-speaking backgrounds need an IELTS score of 6.0 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component. 
  • The university also accepts other equivalent recognised English language test scores, like PTE and TOEFL.

  • Roehampton Higher Technical Qualification (HNC/ HND) Scholarship

    The scholarships are worth £2000, paid for the length of your course.
