Course overview

The BA Finance with Business Communication (Top-up) at the University of Portsmouth is for students who have already studied finance or business and want to get a full bachelor's degree. Entry requirements

Grade Requirements:

  • To apply for the 2-year course, applicants need a Level 4 qualification like an HNC or 120 credits from the first year of a relevant BA/BSc. 
  • Those applying for the 1-year course need a Level 5 qualification like an HND, or 240 credits from the first and second years of a relevant BA/BSc.

English Proficiency:

  • For entry into year 2, applicants need an IELTS score of at least 5.5, with no individual skill element lower than 5.5; for year 3, they need an IELTS score of at least 6.0, again with no individual score lower than 5.5.
