You can choose to specialise in a particular area, or study across a range of mathematical topics in applied mathematics, systems biology, fluid mechanics, statistics and financial mathematics.

The Graduate Skills and Advanced Mathematical Project modules let you work closely with experts, including the opportunity to work on an advanced mathematical problem with a supervisor in your final trimester. Our MSc students have even had papers published in peer-reviewed journals based on their MSc project work. Our well-equipped computer labs include industry-standard programming software such as MATLAB, R and CFD, which you’ll work on to enhance your mathematical understanding.
