A degree in International Business at the University of Greenwich equips students with the skills and experience necessary for a successful career in the global business world. This programme covers the theoretical and practical aspects of business management, organisational functions, and international business environments. The standard duration of this course is three years.
This degree programme provides students with a thorough understanding of the socio-economic dimensions of international business, encompassing areas such as business ethics, corporate social responsibility, and fundamental economic principles. Opportunities may exist for a year of study in another country through a student exchange programme, and/or an optional placement year with an international company. The learning method combines structured learning with independent study. Seminars and workshops provide opportunities for students to discuss and deepen their understanding of lecture topics in smaller groups, and to interact with their instructors.
Scheduled learning sessions can occur depending on the specific courses. In addition to scheduled sessions, students have to allocate time for independent study, including coursework, presentations, and examinations. Course assessments contribute to the final grade, and some courses may also include practice assignments that do not. Graduates are prepared for careers in international organisations, multinational companies, and export-focused businesses.
