MA Inclusive Education
Course overview
The MA in Inclusive Education at the University of Gloucestershire is designed for educational practitioners, leaders, and policymakers who want to deepen their knowledge and practice in the areas of inclusion, special educational needs, and social justice in education. You will study alongside students from other master’s routes (MA Education; MA Education, Ethics & Leadership), participating in seminars, lectures, workshops, and guest lectures to explore key theoretical concepts and everyday practice.
This course challenges students to critically examine how ‘inclusion’ is defined and interpreted, while exploring pedagogy, policy, emotional well‑being, and ethical considerations. You’ll undertake a research dissertation that allows you to investigate a specialist area of interest, from social and emotional health to equity policy or research‑driven improvements in inclusive provision.
