LLB Law Individual Rights

University of Gloucestershire

Course overview

This LLB law degree gives future lawyers the necessary knowledge and skills for a career in law, covering the core legal rules in England and Wales and international law. The Individual Rights specialism allows them to focus on how different laws protect and uphold the rights of people. The course uses practical teaching methods, which include interactive sessions, class debates, and mock trials held in the dedicated Moot Court Room. Students will learn basic legal skills such as how to argue a case and negotiate agreements. A four-year option is available for this programme, which includes a year spent working on a placement in the industry.
