MSc Sport Psychology
Course overview
The MSc Sport Psychology at the University of East London is an ever-expanding field that seeks to establish ways to enhance athletes’, players’, and other high-performing groups' outcomes. This is done through an evidence-based approach informed by research, enabling practitioners to meet that aim.
The MSc puts students at the forefront of this process and immerses them in sport psychology in a supportive and challenging way. Students begin by examining theory and research within sport psychology and then move on to looking at ways of applying that theory as researchers and potential practitioners.
Students finish their degree with a period in the workplace assisting relevant groups with performance enhancement and researching a topic that will hopefully give them the chance to contribute to the body of literature within sport psychology and inform future practices.
