LLB Law with Criminology
Course overview
This is a four-year course, commencing with a foundation year, dedicated to helping students gain confidence before starting the main degree. It is a qualifying law degree, which means it teaches them the core rules of law while also giving them an important understanding of crimes, criminal behaviours, and the justice system. Upon successful passage through the Foundation Year, students are guaranteed a place in the following three years of the degree.
Teaching uses a combination of methods: you prepare using online materials, followed by active classes led by a tutor. Your grades will be based on many types of work, including written assignments, exams, presentations, and hands-on legal tasks. You also have the option to take a one-year paid work placement between your second and third years to get valuable professional experience.

Applicants need to submit a personal statement in which they boldly outline their reasons for wanting to study the course and other information in relation to their studies. A relevant academic or employer reference is also needed.
